I have been with BISD for 16 years now. This is my 2nd year at Brownfield High School teaching Art. 

This is my 23rd year of teaching.  I began my teaching career with ECISD in 2000.  There, I taught kindergarten for 6 years before moving to Brownfield.   I began teaching 1st grade at Colonial Heights and taught there for 6 years.  After that, I was hired on at Oak Grove to teach Art 2nd-5th grade for 3 years. Then moved to Brownfield Middle School where I taught Art full time for 4 years. 2021-2022 I split my time during the day between High School and Middle School.  This is my 2^nd year at High School full time.

My husband and I were married in 1994.  We have two daughters, both are in college.  Our oldest is getting her masters degree at Texas Tech and our youngest attends New Mexico Junior College.  I have one dog, an Austrailian Shephard named Kaiya.

I am a movie fanatic.  I love to watch my favorite movies multiple times with my family.  I am a creative person so I enjoy doing all kinds of arts and crafts.
