I then taught in Judson ISD at Kitty Hawk Middle School where I taught Girls PE and coached volleyball, basketball, and track. I moved to Judson High School where I taught Freshman English and coached girls basketball, track, and softball. After that, I taught at Kirby Middle School where I was the Assistant Athletic Coordinator and I taught Girls PE and coached girls sports. After spending 10 years in Judson ISD, I moved to Dobie Junior High in SCUCISD and was the Girls Athletic Coordinator, taught PE, and coached.
My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We have 4 children – Tyler, Shae, Aubree, and Laekyn. Our son, Tyler, lives in Victoria and was recently married to my daughter-in-law, Hailey. Shae is in her second year of college at my alma mater, UTSA! She is enjoying the experience, especially after spending her first year in a COVID atmosphere. Aubree is a sophomore at BHS and she stays super busy participating in sports, band, and dual credit! Laekyn started daycare this year and loves to be a helper! We have one pet, Toby.
I love spending time with my family. We love being on the river or at the lake. That is one thing we miss the most about San Antonio. I also enjoy being outside, working out, and reading a good book. I also enjoy serving at my church, United Family Fellowship (UFF) here in Brownfield!
